Boxing Bear Print Co.

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR NAME?

The first painting I sold was the Original Boxing Bear. I was trying out different styles and took a chance painting something I could relate to without reason. The idea of connecting with someone over a piece of art neither of us could explain was powerful enough that I took the name as a reminder of why I pursued a career as an artist.

WHERE DO YOU WORK?

I have an art studio attached to my house, but I prefer to work outside when the weather is nice.

WHAT ARE THE ACTUAL PRINT DIMENSIONS?

12" x 18" Prints - The print area is 11" x 14" on a sheet measuring 12" x 18". We list items as 12" x 18" to give customers the most framing options as possible when they get their new art home.

18" x 24" Prints - The print area is 17" x 23" on a sheet measuring 18" x 24". The equipment used by our print shop requires a 1/2" border along the edge of each print. Keeping the sheet 18" x 24" ensures that customers can avoid additional custom framing costs.

DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN FESTIVALS?

We have presented at festivals around Oklahoma since 2012. We always try to extend into new territory. If you are a festival organizer and would like to inquire about available booth space, please contact us.
